Jason M. Smith, PsyD, is a Clinical Psychologist that has worked in various prisons for the past decade. He has used different meditations, visualizations, guided imagery, and breathing exercises with both male and female inmates. He has been a lifelong baseball fan with many of his earliest memories watching his uncle play baseball at Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park. He hopes to be able to use his expertise and these techniques to help the next generation of stars strengthen their mental systems. His favorite baseball movie is Rookie of the Year.
Josh Kaufman, MS, has worked with various populations over the past decade, most recently in substance abuse treatment, prominently utilizing progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery and visualization exercises. He lives and breathes baseball, and believes the mental aspect of the game is still a yet to be explored frontier. His favorite baseball movie is Major League.
